Uncle "Aus" as I always called him and Aunt Nina are buried at Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church In Mt. Airy, Surry County, N.C. Imalee and Jack are also buried there. Neither ever married. Uncle "Aus" was the son of George L. and Sophia C. George Gillespie. Ima Lee died July 13, 1982 and Jack Nov. 21, 1991. They are also buried at Old Hollow cemetery with their mother and father.
Thomas married Nina Zimosa HAWKS on 7 Feb 1907 in , Carroll County, Virginia. Nina (daughter of Jefferson Davis HAWKS and Louisa D. MCCRAW) was born on 1 Feb 1890 in Lambsburg, Carroll County, Virginia; died on 13 Aug 1964 in Mount Airy, Surry County, North Carolina. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
