Arthur Stacy was my grandfather. His daughter Emily was my mother. She was born in 1927, I was born in 1956. His death date of 1916 is in error. Family pictures of him holding me in late 1956 showed him very much alive, so the 1916 date struck me as wrong.
The correct date of death is March 21, 1959. I have a laminated prayer card with a clipping from the March 24, 1959 edition of the Washington Post if you'd like a picture.
