Notes |
- !Frye 0001 - "The Fry Family and Their Descendants - From Switzerland to Texas",
by Hazell M. Scott. - There is a very interesting story in Mazell's book about
Amelia and her first husband. She thought that he died in a cattle drive; he
thought she had died in childbirth, so he apparently did not return from the
drive until many years later. Meanwhile Amelia remarried to Benjamin Elkins.
When her first husband returned years later and looked in the graveyard for her
grave, someone told him what happened. He left without contacting her again.
