Marshall 0402, pg 1 - This source is from her daughter's, Alma Sparger, memoir. It says that Louisa was born in Mississippi. When she was two years old her family moved to Henry County, Virginia and some sources wrongly state that she was born in Henry County. The family later moved to Surry County, North Carolina.
