I hope this finds you well. I've been doing some work on my Stroud side of the family and when googleing Catherine Sparks and William Thomas Stroud. Catherine and William would be my 2nd great grandmother and grandfather. I came upon this page with your Email.
With the following information:

Death : 11 May 1936 , Wilkes County, North Carolina
Gender: Female
Parents:
Father: Sparks, William James
Mother: Money, Araminta
The picture I have of her grave stone:

It may be a little hard to read but it shows her birth year as 1851 instead of 1850. If you have other documentation and wish to share it I would be glad to receive it.
Perhaps you can help with one more issue. I've run into a dead end for finding the maiden name for the wife of Cahterine's son Charlie Stroud. If you have developed any more information on that, I would be extremely grateful!
