Hope it wasn't too much of a hassle. Sorry about that. I did not know that Thine married a Gerrey as well. My Aunt Sandy told me that one of the Gerrey sons drowned but she did not know which one. She is 20 years younger than my Dad and did not spend alot of time with him as he was in the service. My Aunt Mozelle died about 10 years or so ago, shortly after I finally met her. I will never forget those blue eyes melding into mine. For the first time I saw where mine came from and could imagine what my Dad looked like face to face. She married Lester Lewis who also died about 2 or more years ago. Not sure exactly. Their son Jerry Lewis and I believe the other is Joseph(never met him) are still living in Winston Salem. Jerry is a wonderful guy and he had a lovely wife Janet but she died last year. They had 1 son Michael who is married now and lives in PA. My other Uncle Lester(Gerrey) went by Nick. He died a while ago too. His wife Gladys moved to Newport News with her son Ronny Gerrey and his wife Sydney after that. I do not know if Gladys is alive or not. I pretty much just get tidbits of info through my Mom when she gets a card from Sandy or now and then when I hear from Sandy. I thought my Aunt Florence died way before 1996 though. It is getting late, so I will write with all my siblings names and dates later. Three boys, three girls and also my childrens names and dates. Is there any other type of info you are needing? Please let me know. Do you know what country(ies) the lineage started from? Well, Friday the 13th held a little magic after all! I will never forget this day. It is great to be connecting with you. I believe it is Francis Marion Wray, who was a son of Amos Wray. He died June 22, 1877, and Robert Marion is listed on the 1880 census under Robert Eli Wray. Francis Marion Wray was married to Jane, who was born about 1847. They had 2 children- Ann born about 1866 and Marion born about 1869. Francis Marion Wray was a Private B in Campbell's Rifles in the twelveth SCV in the War of Northern Aggression, or more commonly known as the War Between the States. This information came from the Hart Collection at McCelvey Center in York and the Confederate State Roster SC Name Roster Volume 1. I believe that my family connects to yours at Nancy Golding. In Grayson county, Minitree Powell Jones (b. 2/6/1792) married Nancy Golden (b. 3/6/1795). I believe that this is your Nancy Golding who you have listed as born 1794. My notes show that Nancy Golden had a brother William (as does your Nancy Golding), and that her father was William Golden married to S. Burnes (similar to your William Golding married to Sarah Burnes). I believe these are the same Nancy. These years in Virginia were given to western expansion and counties were being formed quickly. - 1776 Montgomery county was created, from Bototot and Fincastle - 1789 Wythe county was created, breaking off from Montgomery - 1792 Grayson county was created, taking parts of Montgovery and Patrick The Jones family had also originated from England. Minitree Powell Jones's father, Minitree Jones owned a substantial amount of land along New River in what then (in 1792) Grayson county, and was one of the few slaveholders at the time. Minitree Powell Jones and Nancy Golden(ing), had (at least) 2 daughters: Elizabeth Jones and Sally Jones. - Sally married John Isom and their son, Minitree Jones Isom was Captain in Georgia Battery B (1/31/1864) CSA - Elizabeth married Alfred Hale, and their daughter Nancy married Minitree Jones Isom (her 1st cousin) | GOLDING, Nancy (I36506)

Harvey and Martha Farnsworth had a son, Robert Lee Farnsworth, that died (b 1940, d 1941). I think you have him listed as Harold and Eugenia's son. They too, have a son named Robert. I don't know what his middle name is, or if he has one. He is still living. I think Agatha's second husband's name is spelled with an e, Wendland. I spelled it wrong on my fb page. I need to change that. Dorothy Farnsworth's daughter Willa Jean was Troy McGee's daughter. Troy was her first husband, Earnest Valentine was her second husband, and Edgar Sayre was her third. Mary Anise's husband's first name was Bill, probably short for William. I will look over the site later when I have more time. The new site looks great and is so much easier to use.
