| 36718 | Subj: Re: Olin Wearn & Mary Patterson Date: 6/5/2001 8:54:14 AM Eastern Daylight Time From: jwearn@kennesaw.edu (Jeannie Wearn) To: DMarsh1041@aol.com I spoke with my husband last night, and this is his grandfather's family (George Wayne Patterson). His Mom is Mary Patterson. He remembers a cousin Will Patterson, also in the insurance business, who lived in Charlotte as well. There is one correction. Olin Wearn had 2 sons, Joseph Henry Wearn (not Olin, Jr) and George Patterson Wearn (my husband). It is difficult to assimilate all this quickly, but, if you are interested, I might be able to help. I have a very accurate book (not gedcom) of the Wearn family and another on the Johnson family (Winston Salem), I believe. They are back further in the Stafford family. My husband's great-grandfather was Will Stafford (Winston Salem). He was Mary Patterson's maternal grandfather. There is more, I didn't have time to look into it all last night. I hope I haven't confused this information. Can you answer one question for me? To speed up my digging, where does Morrison tie to the Pattersons of Mt. Airy? NOTE: I have photos of George W. Patterson, and many books, etc. Let me know what I can share, and in what form. We have, until now, absolutely no info on the Patterson family.
