• Photos		Marshall, Bertha Maybell This young beauty is Bertha Maybel Marshall Born 23 Aug 1890; died 26 Jun 1969 in Kernersville, North Carolina. She was the only child of John W. Marshall and Jemima Josephine Hopkins. Noteworthy is that she must not have liked that since she and Arthur Ballard had 10 children. John & Bertha Marshall's homeplace is still on N. Main Street in Kernersville, Forsyth County, N. C. May Leona Ballard b. 1913 their 3rd child still lives there and their 10th child Kay Francis lives next door. John Ballard, who sent me this picture also sent me the picture of the "home place" that he took while he was at the reunion this summer (1999) in Dobson, NC.
  		Marshall, Bertha Maybel and Ballard, Arthur C. - Homeplace in Kernersville, North Carolina. This was also the home of John W. Marshall and Jemima Hopkins They third child, May Leona Ballard was still living there in 1998.
