  Marshall 0248B - Gedcom from Larry Shelton Luther Burton was the son of William and Tempa Burton. Sallie Miller Hawks died in childbirth leaving daughter Zetta almost two years old. Zetta's maternal grandparents Jefferson and Louisa Payne Hawks raised her with their own twelve children.My mother Nancy Naomi Hawks Sparks was born in 1899 and Zetta was born in 1902 and they were always like sisters.
