Amazing! This is so fascinating. I knew little to nothing about the
Rush side of my family. My grandfather was an older man when he had my
father and passed away when I was only eight. The short time he was in
my life he was beloved. His brother E.B. (Elijah Baxter) lived in our
town but was tragically murdered in a home invasion when I was just a
toddler. I never got to meet any of my Rush Great-Aunts as they lived
elsewhere and we were in Oklahoma. Great to know I have some long lost
family out there! As far as I know my father is the last male Rush
from that line. I currently live in Montréal Quebec Canada but of
course grew up in Oklahoma. I've only just started researching the
Rush family and your information has been such a wealth! Really I
can't thank you enough. Here are some dates I have for my branch:
William Henry Rush: May 29th 1910 Death: Aug 1st 1986
Nola Carmel "Joan" Rush: Nov 15th 1920
Linda Rush-Thomas: Dec 10th 1942
Stevan Michael Rush: Apr 25th 1951:
Then there's me, I'm Courtney Rush-Woo Nov 16th 1977 married to Albert
Jun Woo and we have a daughter Lillian Lien Yee Woo Dec 17th 2004.
Please pass my hellos to your wife, my second cousin! :) I've attached
a couple of pictures of myself and my family and one of my
grandparents when they were a similar age.
