  !He was a captain in the Rovolutionary war. !My source for the Waring family was Ruth Waring. Much of the original data came from the back of a picture that she had writtem the family genealogy on. She also had other things I consider reliable such as a "Birthday Book" that Bill Waring's aunt Mary gave to him when he was a child. Mary had written birth and death dates of many of the Waring's in that book. Ruth Waring still had the book in 1993. [DWM]
